We have some news on Iron fist in Shang Chi 2, so far we know that Marvel are planning on introducing a Iron Fist in the Eyes of Wakanda series. The Eyes of Wakanda is a series Marvel is planning on making, which’ll be based on the ancient times of Wakanda. At some point in that a version of Iron fist is going to appear in it. Shang Chi 2 may include time travel elements to introduce Iron Fist from the time Eyes of Wakanda is taking place. It’s likely that the ancient version of Iron Fist will explore more to the heritage of the Iron Fist power. In witch could potentially collide with the 10 rings and Shang Chi’s story.
How could these two characters story’s interlay
One way these two characters story’s can interlay is through the original story of how Iron Fist got his powers in the comics. Danny/Iron Fist get’s the chance to attain the Iron Fist’s power by defeating the dragon Shao Lao the undying. As it turns out, Shang Chi and his people are known for their devotion to dragons, much like the one featured in the movie. This could potentially lead to an epic showdown between Shang Chi and Iron Fist. Additionally, it’s worth noting that Danny’s actions could have a impact on how Shang Chi’s people view him. Possibly even turning him into an enemy in their eyes. This may interfere with the potential Kang connection or appearance in the movie.
Another way they could introduce him is to do a hero’s for hire sort of thing, in witch a series of events will bring characters together. One of witch include Iron Fist, however this may move away from his more historical appearance’s. Regardless it’s going to be interesting to see how Marvel incorporate this character.
