X-Men 97 Episode 6 dropped on Disney today, delivering of excitement with references, and an exiting plot. Yet another thrilling episode, packed with amazing action and captivating storytelling.

Let’s start with Charles returning, looking alive and well, about to marry Lilandra at the beginning of the episode. Just to refresh your memory quickly, Lilandra of the Shi ar took Charles away because his survival depends on being with her people. Now, Charles is fully recovered and has fallen in love with Lilandra. I’ll delve into this shortly, but let’s begin with the first scene of the episode where we encounter Death Bird. The Shi Ar Empire engages in an epic clash with the Kree Empire. Their sights set on nothing less than total domination over the Cree and seizing control of their controlled space accesses. The thrilling fight continues with Death Bird’s team dominating the battlefield. Including members such as Gladiator, Flash Fire, Star Bolt, Manta, Smasher, Warfire, and Titan.
Vulcan, Cyclop’s brother, is also present with the team. It’s worth noting that this character plays a crucial role in the Shi ar Empire storyline, eventually ascending to Emperor of the Shi ar Empire. Additionally, he possesses immense power as an omega-level mutant. The Shi ar Empire emerges victorious over the Kree. With Gladiator one shotting Ronan. During this, Lilandra announces her impending marriage to everyone.

X-Men 97 Episode 6: Charlese’s Marriage and reference to Mr Sinister’s plans
We see that Lilandra’s getting Married to Charles, meaning Charles will be the new Emperor of the Shi ar. This is why a lot of the Shi ar don’t trust or respect him, as he is a human. Charles recalls that he wants to return to Earth. Despite Lilandra’s hesitant intent to keep him on her planet she accepts it. We see Death Bird tell Charles in order to marry into the royal family he has to erase all memories and knowledge of Earth. Lilandra is the one who will do it as Charles isn’t trusted to do it himself. It seems like Charles is going through with this when we see his memories and knowledge of Earth about to go away. But, the professor refuses to do such thing and it breaks into a fight. Gladiator them makes another one shot but to Death Bird this time.
Charles put’s a stop to fight by sending everyone to the Asteralplane, in a Young Mutans class room. To wich he teaches them about co-existence and trys to convince them to let him marry Lilandra and keeping his memories. This is then cut short by Charles visioning everyone dying with Gambit turing into skelton and shooting out a senitel beam. This is showing that Charles knows everything that happened on Genosha, showing how powerful he is. This scene is referencing everything to come and what could happen soon. Referencing Mr Sinisters plan and what they can lead to along with maybe something bigger than that.

In this thrilling episode, Storm and Forge confront Adversary, forcing Storm to face her fears. It’s revealed her powers were suppressed all along. With a triumphant surge, Storm regains her strength, unleashing her abilities anew. In a gripping finale scene, Trask flees from Mr. Sinister, exposing his role in the Genosha attack.
