Cable revealed how Bastion turned the human race into Prime Sentinels, wiping out mutants and enslaving survivors. This pertains to Cable’s future timeline. We also know Cable separated from Bishop back when Bishop transported him as a baby to the future. Furthermore, Cable explained his use of Mr. Sinister’s techno virus in creating the Prime Sentinels. Mr Sinister also uses Bastion to experiment and create this Mega level powerful being/Mutant. Wich was his primary goal with Cable, but that didn’t go all according to plan. So you can tell that they are both using eachother. The classic two villains working together but really just using eahcother story. Cable also brings up a scared timeline hologram during explaining Bastion.
We also find out that the attack on genosha can’t be reversed, as it is a fixed point in time. Meaning you can’t change it, otherwise it’ll result in destruction of that universe. Notice Beast say’s Camotage during this. Which given the subject of fixed point in time, could be a reference to Doctor Strange trying to change a fixed point in time in the What If series. Since time travel is now ruled out for bring back Gambit it widens the other theories. Perhaps they’ll go down the Apocalypses Horseman road.
