- new Superman Suit revelled by James Gunn
James Gunn just revealed an official First look at the new Superman suit, showing the whole suit. Revelling he’ll have the Superman trunks, and have the New 52’s Superman collar. Making it a combination of the Kingdom Come and New 52 Superman suit. Also, another combination includes Mark Fleicher’s Superman suit, featuring the gold outline of the Superman logo, which this new Superman suit also features. Also notice the suit has texture details on the Krytonian fabric. This closely resembles Henry Cavil’s Superman suit, which featured textured fabric. Therefore, it combines not only three but four Superman suits. But I’m pretty sure the texture was intended without considering Henry Cavils suit having similar texture. Image credit James Gunn
New Superman Suit: Braniac, Guy Garnders Green Lantern
The vibrant beam or whatever this mysterious things is in the background of the picture has sparked wondering speculation. It’s sparked questions such as what could it be? Who could it be caused by?, and is it an attack from a villain? I think it might be Brainiac attacking someone, possibly Guy Garnderns Green Lantern. Because notice there’s a green light within the beam, that could be from Guy Gardners Green Lantern. The beam could also be coming form Lex Luthor or the engineer. You may also notice a building behind the beam amongst the city, that looks like Lex’s tower. I could be wrong but it very well could be, considering the size of the tower and how it’s been displayed in comics.
Focusing back on Superman, he looks like he’s just been in a fight. By the look on his face he looks exhausted, having to go from one battle to another. The apparent burns on the suit essentially confirm that he’s recently been in battle. Along with his suit looking kind of ruffed up. That could just be because it’s not edited because you can see parts of his suit are saggy.
I think this picture is James Gunn showing what the vibe will be like for the movie. And wants the picture to show it’s unique aspects along with it’s classical.
