The beloved Star-Lord actor just dropped a huge hint about joining James Gunn’s DCU during a ComicBook.com interview. When asked, “If you were to wager a bet on where we’ll see you next, do you think you’ll be suiting up as somebody in DC or returning as Star-Lord?” Chris replied, “It probably makes more sense that I would be Star-Lord again, but anything is possible and especially with James over at DC, maybe there’s something that would be right over there. Maybe both, how about both? I think it’s 100% both.” So if it’s unclear, this means he thinks it’s 100% both for returning as Star-Lord and joining DC. This is extremely exiting as many fans have been pushing to see Chris in the DCU. His talents are perfect for a DC character role, and I’m sure many fans have wanted him to join DC. The question is, who could he play? James Gunn has expressed multiple times that he’d love to work with Chris again. He has hinted on various threads and Instagram posts that he has plans for Chris Pratt in the DCU. Chris Pratt is an amazing character and has proven he’s a great fit for comedic characters, but also characters with deep backgrounds. He bought the character Star-Lord to life and sparked millions to love the character. This is what DC needs, for an actor to spark love of their role and draw more popularity to that character.
