Deadpool and Wolverine tickets are on sale now!, Marvel has released a new trailer with new footage. The film has ever growing speculation and excitement among fans. Marvel has made a smart move by selling tickets early. They aim to surpass $1 billion and seem very confident in achieving this goal.
This new trailer features bit’s of footage form the previous one, plus an extra 1 min scene. For those hoping to get a proper final trailer, don’t worry, we’re still getting that. The new footage gives us an even better idea of how these two characters will act together. With Deadpool’s classic humour and Wolverines weary attitude towards Deadpool. Despite the obvious comedic focus of this scene, there’s more to it than you may think. Revolving around the back round of the scene. In fact, it links to some early fan theory’s of the film. Deadpool And Wolverine New Footage: Somewhere in the Void, Another Universe, Possibly the Savage Land?
The scene features a desert-like back round, which could suggest Deadpool and Wolverine are either in the void, traveling in another universe, or possibly in the Savage Land. For those unfamiliar, the Savage Land was created by the alien Nuwali at the behest of the Beyonders, who wanted to observe evolution under controlled conditions. Long story short the Beyonders and Nuwali lost interest.
In X-Men #1, Magneto retreated to the Savage Land, where he genetically altered the natives to create the Savage Land Mutates, who worshipped him. This direction has been speculated before, especially with set photos previously fuelling the rumours. Now, with this new footage, speculation about the Savage Land is likely to gain more traction.
Dinosaurs play a big role in the Savage Land, affected by Scarlet Witch and now residing there. Additionally, The set photo I mentioned shows two chairs labelled “Logan” and “Wade Wilson” in a Jurassic World font. In addition sparking this fan theory. Now, of course I could be completely wrong and this back round could just be the void. But, it would be an exiting idea to incorporate into the film, and has already been teased by set photos.
