Giancarlo Esposito has been officially cast in the MCU, this is coming and confirmed form him. Many fans have have wanted Giancarlo Esposito to be in the MCU, and have even created fan art on characters he could play. Many fans have been fan casting him as a range of different characters that I’ll get to in a bit. The most popular fan casting is Professor X AKA Charles Xavier. When talking about the casting he said “It’s not who you think it is”. Which could be pointing at fan casting of Charles Xavier. Yet he didn’t exactly confirm it’s not Profferor X it seems more likely that he was talking about him. Speculations are currently rising about which character he might portray in the MCU. People have been discussing Galactus, Doctor Doom, Magneto, and a Kang variant. And characters that I think he could be playing. Fan art depicting him as each of these characters has been created and will likely continue. Giancarlo Esposito also stated he’ll be appearing sooner than you think, suggesting a close upcoming MCU movie.
Possible movies include Deadpool, Wolverine, and Fantastic 4, among others like Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts, Blade. These films are relatively close to now. Deadpool, Wolverine, and Fantastic 4 would be the most suitable and probable options for his appearance. Deadpool and Wolverine offer cameo opportunities where he could feature. This would likely involve him portraying a variant, assuming either a significant or minor role.
