However this specific character remains unconfirmed. But, the idea that she’ll paly this character is gaining traction. Nevertheless, reports from various insiders suggest that Peter will have a new love interest in Black Cat. One recent report from two days ago mentioned Sydney Sweeney for the role, indicating she’ll be Peter’s new romantic interest.

Sydney Sweeney as Black Cat: MJ, Peter, Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) Love Triangle
Though MJ doesn’t remember Peter, the script for the film revealed that MJ had a lingering sense of recognition and dej a vu during her encounter with Peter at the Coffee shop. This aligns with a report suggesting that MJ will gradually recall Peter, leading to a love triangle between her, Peter, and Black Cat. This I think will make a good addition to the film, along with Black Cat’s story being introduced. Hopefully we also get to see Peter and Ned’s friendship form back together as well. With that, Spider-Man will face King Pin and his army at hand. Now Black Cat may be in the Movie, King Pin ties into her storyline. So it’ll be interesting to see they do that and overall how the whole thing turns out.
