We have some big news on Spiderman 4, including a middle ground that Sony and Marvel has finally made. Sony started with wanting Spiderman 4 to be a big multiverse movie and Marvel want it to be a more grounded film. We now know after recent reports form insiders, it seems they’ve both come to a middle ground agreement. So Marvel will still be going of the story of king Pin as president, banning vigilantes. But Sonny said you can only do that if we have a lot of our characters crossover into the film.
What Sony Characters will be showing up and How?
Some characters that may appear in the upcoming movie include Scorpion, Eddie Brock’s Venom, Kraven the Hunter, Norman Osborn, and Miles Morales. Miles Morales is confirmed to be in the MCU, so he’s likely to appear in the movie. These characters could be introduced in a similar way to the No Way Home characters or through the Kingpin story. King Pins story being the ban of vigilantes. For example King Pin could heir Kraven the hunter or Scorpion to kill people like spiderman, or both. Additionally, there are some good guy characters potentially being introduced, including Antman and Daredevil.

Sony wants to add their characters to MCU after their plans for Madame Web to start a franchise failed. In my opinion Madame Web wasn’t the best Spiderman character choice to start a whole set of films around.
The reason why it’s failure was good as well as bad, is because it allowed Sony to then change their plans and put their characters into Spiderman 4. Witch I’m sure joint with the stability of Marvels original story for the film would make fans very happy. What they were aiming for, for Madame web failed so instead they are going to branch all their movies of the MCU. In simpler terms it seems sony will start their original plans from the MCU universe.
