Star Wars recently dropped a new trailer for Star Wars Tales of the Empire, I’ll be going through and explaining it.
First of all, this is basically a Sith version of the Tales Of the Jedi series. And it takes place after order 66. There were a few Asoka season 2 teasers, and themes from Clone Wars. We also saw flashbacks from the Clone Wars series, when Count Duko sent the separatist army to kill the knight sisters. We then see the return of Barriss Ofee who we saw in the Clone Wars imprisoned by Empire after Order 66. The Empire then try to change her into a inquisitor. Who we saw the Grand inquisitor himself training Baris Ofee to become one of them.
We also know that she’s in association with Admiral Thawn because in the trailer we saw her standing in front of Thawns HK Droids. During this scene you actually see the new Republic Uniforms, and Barriss Offe starts attacking them. – For what looked like the Republic refusing to do something. So you can definitely tell the Empire did their job with turning her. We also see her in a pretty epic scene where she get’s put into a battle cage sort of thing, to fight another turned Jedi. This is her final test to join the Inquisitors.

Tales of The Empire: Morgan Elsbeth
We also see a bit of Morgan Elsbeth, who is one of last Knight Sisters, we see her fighting General grievous. In this scene you also see her curved blade weapons with Force energy surging around it. This is coming form Knight Sister Magic, witch only they can use. So you can tell that they’ll go deeper into the Knight Sister story/background than they did in Ashoka.
We also see this character fighting against the Empire, that specifically being battle droids and general Grevoious. So it seems like Morgan will be the focused good guy through out the series. – And Barriss Ofee will be a focused bad guy, along with Thawn, and obviously the Empire.
Near to the end of the trailer, Barriss Ofee gets introduced to her new Master, Darth Vader. This is actually a funny reunion as they both met before during Clone Wars but as Anakin. This time both are now turned to the Darkside. Kind of a big Hypocrite moment as both were originally supporting Jedi ways. Star Wars Tales Of the Empire will release on Star wars day. ‘May 4th’.
