Big News’s, Marvel has announced a Vision series coming In 2026, with Paul Bettany returning for the role. According to Deadline – “Star Trek: Picard Ep Terry Matalas has been taped to serve as showrunner for the new series.”
Right away we already have some pretty good assurance that the show running is in good hands. Terry Matlas produced Star Trek Picard season 3, an astonishing Sci Fi series. This New Vision series will finally pay of where White Vision went at the end on of Wanda Vision. So it’s basically a Wanda Vison sequel, that’ll explore where Cataract is and what he’s up to. You also have to remember, that he has all of Visons memory’s due to the Vison Hex. Additionally, the series will probably focus on him trying to deal with that.
Wonder Man Tie Ins
As this series develops, questions will star to spark if it will tie into the upcoming Wonder Man series. In the comics, Vision has strong links to Wonder Man, especially since Wonder Man’s cognitions gave Vision his personality. However, the MCU used the Mind Stone for this purpose.
Direct story connections with the Vision Quest series seem unlikely, but the show might include some Easter eggs and references to Wonder Man. Similarly, the Wonder Man series could feature nods to Vision. Although the release date for Wonder Man isn’t set, it might come out around the same time as Ironheart. Originally slated for 2023-2024, filming delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes that pushed it back.
Vison series In Development: Scarlet Witch Returns
With Agatha All Along right around the corner and a new Vision series in development, Scarlet Witch is likely to make an appearance. In case there was any confusion, she survived in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. Rumours suggest she’ll appear in Agatha All Along, with mentions and references, especially since she’s an incredibly powerful witch. This connection makes her a natural fit for the story of Agatha All Along.
As for her potential return in Vision Quest, she might seek out Vision due to nostalgia. However, given that she didn’t pursue him when he flew away in Wanda Vision, she’s likely moving on from him. After all, Despite having his memories and appearance, White Vision isn’t exactly her Vision. This storyline could also pave the way for the return of Wanda’s children, Billy and Tommy, who are rumoured to appear in Agatha All Along. Vision series In Development
